Crafting a truly personal service means looking beyond the traditional script to find the real person underneath. My background is rooted in community, music, and storytelling - all things that taught me how to listen without judgment.

My approach is entirely about you and your family - holding space for your memories, embracing a bit of lightness where it belongs, and making sure your goodbye feels authentic from start to finish. I believe that even in grief, there is room for warmth, shared memories, and a genuine human connection.

Here is a little look at the everyday things that shape who I am.

Meet Ayana

My gorgeous black lop-eared rabbit. She’s usually hopping around my feet and supervising me as I write a service.

Local Brass Bands

Music has been part of my life since I was very young. I play baritone in two local brass bands: Redruth Town Band and Breage & District Silver Band.

Stationery Lover

Stationery is my guilty pleasure - and vital in my work. Though I have dozens of beautiful but half-filled notebooks because I always find a new one that I like more (all in the name of keeping organized, of course!)

Cruising the World

I love travelling the world, especially on cruises. I am fascinated by different cultures and traditions, with a particular soft spot for cruising the Eastern Mediterranean and discovering how much traditions can shift within just a few miles.

Evening Writing

On cooler Cornish nights, you’ll usually find me writing near our wood burner. There is nothing quite like the crackle of a real fire and a warm, cosy room to help clear the mind after a busy week.

Powered by Tea

I am powered entirely by tea! Proper builders tea (though... disclaimer: I like it milky...). A good cup of tea is a non-negotiable part of my day.
